Nunzianna Doti was born in Napoli, Italy, on the 6th of May 1978. She received her MSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Napoli “Federico II” and her PhD degree in Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in Napoli. She worked as a research fellow at the Institute of Biostructures and Bioimaging (IBB)-CNR in Napoli. Subsequently, in 2012, she was appointed as a permanent researcher of IBB-CNR in Napoli. From 2015 to date, she has worked as the Head of the Peptide and Protein Chemistry and Combinatorial Technologies Laboratory. She is involved in multiple projects that are dedicated to: (i) synthetic methods for the preparation of small and large peptide fragments; (ii) the synthesis and screening of peptide libraries aimed at identifying new ligands for affinity chromatography and drug discovery; (iv) the design and synthesis of peptidomimetics; (v) the structural and functional characterization of protein complexes involved in diseases; and (vi) the development of heterogeneous and/or homogeneous high-throughput screening assays for biological inhibitors of proteins or aberrant protein/protein interactions.
