Alberto Paramio Leiva is a Lecturer at the University of Cádiz and the Valencian International University (VIU), holds a PhD in Health Sciences (Psychology) (University of Cádiz, 2023). He earned a Master’s in Mental Health Research (2019), and postgraduate diplomas in Applied Statistics (UNED, 2020) and Forensic Psychology (UV, 2021).Member of the University Research Institute for Sustainable Social Development (INDESS), and of professional bodies such as the American Psychological Association. His research has received institutional recognition equivalent to a national research period (sexenio 2018–2023).Main research lines: emotional intelligence; health and emotions; psychotherapy effectiveness; decision-making processes; risk behaviors; and consumer behavior.
