Blaža Stojanović completed his Ph.D. and his M.S. both at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. He joined the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac, in 1999 and is now a full professor there. Top 2% Scientist at Elsevier/Stanford University in 2025 and 2026. He is a member of the Programmatic and Organizational Board of a series of international conferences in the area of tribology and the Executive Board of the Serbian Tribology Society. He is the editor and assistant editor of ten journals indexed in WOS and Scopus. He is also a member of the editorial board of a large number of scientific and professional journals. His research areas include tribology, aluminum metal matrix composites, tribology in machine design, and mechanical transmitters.
