Marinella Farré has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (December 2003), and she is a Research Scientist and permanent staff member at IDÆA-CSIC since July 2008. She is involved in the development and application of advanced analytical techniques for the analysis of emerging contaminants, nanomaterials, polymers and plasticisers in the environment and food. She has experience in the participation and coordination of research projects at the national and international level.
