Dr. Ja‑Hon Lin currently serves as a professor in the department of electro-optical engineering at the National Taipei University of Technology. He received his PhD degree from the Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 2002. From 2003 to 2007, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Chiao Tung University. Since 2007, he has worked at the National Taipei University of Technology. In addition, He has been chief of the research and project section at the research development office, NTUT, since 2014. Dr. Ja‑Hon Lin's research interests include ultrafast measurements of optical materials, liquid crystal lasers, liquid crystal devices, and short pulse generation from a ytterbium-doped fiber laser.
