Chih-Li Lin is a Professor and Research Fellow at Chung Shan Medical University and Hospital. He obtained his Ph. D. degree in the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from National Taiwan University Medical College in 2007. He completed his postdoctoral research on dementia and Alzheimer’s disease at the National Taiwan University Hospital, and then he moved to the Institute of Medicine, Chung Shan Medical University (Taiwan) as Assistant Professor in 2008 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. His major interests are understanding the connections between brain aging and Alzheimer’s dementia and, particularly, in studying the molecular mechanisms of amyloid beta (Aβ)-induced neurotoxicity.
