Dr. Kyung Sung is a Professor of Radiological Sciences at UCLA with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and quantitative medical imaging technologies. Dr. Sung currently leads several NIH-funded projects focused on pioneering AI tools for enhanced prostate cancer diagnosis, optimizing MRI data for AI readiness, and developing racially associated MRI analysis and modeling for aggressive prostate cancer. Dr. Sung’s research aims to broaden the capabilities of medical imaging through AI, providing robust and reproducible measures of imaging biomarkers related to cancer and vascular diseases.
