Pedro Moliner Borja, MD, PhD, FICOS, is the head of the Cardio-Oncology Unit in Bellvitge University Hospital with the Catalan Institute of Oncology, Barcelona, Spain. He is a consultant cardiologist in the South Metropolitan Barcelona Integrated Heart Failure Programme (UMICO) and postdoctoral researcher in the BioHeart cardiovascular diseases research group (IDIBELL, Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute), a CIBER-CV Member (Network Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases), Coordinator of the Catalan Group of Cardio-Oncology and Board of Directors' member of the Cardio-Oncology Working Group of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC). He is a member of the Council of Cardio-Oncology of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Fellow of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (FICOS), collaborating professor in the degree of Medicine, Universitat de Barcelona and Editorial Board member of the European Journal of Internal Medicine. His skills and expertise are cardio-oncology and chronic heart failure. He has over 70 publications in these areas with 1988 citations (November 2023, h-index=26).
