Aldo Dal Prà, researcher. He was born in Siracusa (Italy) in 1976 and graduated cum laude in Agricultural Sciences and Animal Production at the University of Florence in 2004 and 2011. Ph.D. Degree (Italian Doctorate) in “Animal Science” obtained at the University of Florence in 2008. Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Animal Science - University of Florence (2008/11). Temporary scientific staff at the CREA-ZA (ex CRA) (2011/13). Researcher at the Centro Ricerche Produzioni Animali (2013/21). Adjunct Professor at the University of Brescia (A.A. 2020/21 - SSD AGR/17; A.A. 2023/24 - SSD AGR/18), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (A.A. 2013/14 - SSD AGR/18-19), and University of Florence (A.A. 2023/24 - SSD AGR/19). Researcher at the Institute of BioEconomy-National Research Council (IBE-CNR). He was the principal investigator/scientific coordinator in 9 Operational Groups and has participated in 60 research projects, 7 of which were funded by the EU.
