Nikolay N. Gerasimchuk, after obtaining his first Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry at Kyiv State University (Ukraine) in 1985, held an assistant and then associate professor position until 1992. After immigrating to the US, he obtained his second Ph.D. in bioinorganic chemistry at the University of Kansas in 1996. He was a research associate at North Dakota State University from 1997 to 1998, and then worked at Pharmacyclics, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, as a research chemist until August 2001. Then, he accepted a position at Missouri State University, where he became a full professor in 2012. His research interests include various aspects of inorganic chemistry.
