Giovanna Orsini is a Full Professor of Applied Medical Technical Sciences at the Medical Faculty of Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy, and Dean of the Master’s Degree in Sciences of Healthcare Professional Technical Assistance at the same Institution. In 1994, Prof. Orsini obtained a Degree in Dentistry from the University of L’Aquila, Italy and she then continued her studies with a Certification in Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA, USA (1996). In 2000, she received an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Montreal, Canada and, in 2005, she finished her PhD in Stomatology and Oral Sciences at the University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy. Her research interests focus on clinical trials, preventive and aesthetic dentistry, dental materials, calcified tissue morphology, nanotechnology, and dental stem cells.
