Biography

I am a scientist working at the Pirbright institute, the United Kingdom, in the field of infectious diseases bioinformatics and genetics. I have also special experience in analyzing high-thoughput data (mainly transcriptomics and genomics) and multivariate data analyses. I am experiened in using programing language such as R and linux. Area of experiences include: 1. Analyzing transcriptomic and genomic data. This involves applying Bioinformatics analyses (e.g. alignments, BAM file cleaning, gene expression analyses, etc.) 2. Performing in-silico prediction for gene ontology and pathway analyses. This involves generating network figures for enriched pathways. 3. Analyzing miRNA sequenicng data. This involves target prediction and pathway analyses. 4. Analyzing genomic data for variant detection. This involves using linux to annotate genetic variants as well as their genotypes and mape them on chromosomes on interest. 5. Applying multivariate analyses and machi9ne learning models on high dimention data. I have run machine learning such as random forest, partial least square discriminate analyses, ROC etc.
