Dr. Roberto Rossi DDS MScD received his dental degree cum laude in 1997. From 1989–1992 he completed his specialization in Periodontology at Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry where he also received his Master of Science in Dentistry in Periodontology. Since 1992 he has run a private practice limited to periodontology and esthetic dentistry in Genoa (Italy). He has been a professor and visiting professor at several universities (Genova, Brescia, Chieti, Pisa, Torino, Roma, Napoli, Geneva, London) and lectured in post-graduate programs. He is an active member and president of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), certified member of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP), certified member of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD), international member of the American Academy of Periodontology, honorary member of the Bohemian Academy of Implantology, and member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO). He is the author of more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals, author and editor of the book 'Building Better Bone', co-author of the book 'Bone Biomaterials and Beyond', and author of chapters in several other books.
