My name is Yohanis Dabesa Jelila, and I'm an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Jimma University, Ethiopia, with expertise in mechanical systems, vibration analysis, finite element methods, fault diagnosis, and railway condition monitoring. I hold a PhD in Engineering and Technology from Silesian University of Technology, Poland, where my research focused on vibration-based diagnostics, MEMS sensing, and railway wheel-rail interaction. I hold an MSc and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Jimma University. His work combines engineering modelling, digital signal processing, simulation, and data analysis using tools such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, SIMPACK, MATLAB, Python, and C++. I have published research in internationally recognized journals and received Research Excellence Awards.
