Barbara Cisterna obtained her B.Sc. degree in Biology (University of Pavia) and then her Ph.D. in Cell Biology (University of Pavia). She has carried out research activities at the Laboratory of Cell Biology at the University of Pavia and the Laboratory of Renal Immunopathology at the University of Torino. Since 2012, she has been working at the Anatomy and Histology section of the University of Verona, and she is currently a Temporary Assistant Professor. Her research interests are cell biology with specific attention on nucleus metabolism. The analyses are mainly performed by several imaging techniques.
