Prof. Dr. Hongdong Fan is a Professor and the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Land Environment and Disaster Monitoring, as well as the Deputy Director of the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology. He received his BS in Surveying and Mapping Engineering (2004), MSc in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering (2007), and PhD in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering (2010) from China University of Mining and Technology. His research interests include remote sensing of disasters, synthetic aperture radar interferometry (InSAR), and deformation monitoring.
