Magdalena CARA is a professor (since 2015) and is working at the Agriculture University of Tirana (since 2005). She has been focused on scientific research for pesticides, mycotoxins, toxigenic fungi and other plant pathogens, as well as their detection through the use of molecular methods including Real-time PCR & LAMP. She has participated in and coordinated international and national projects such as TEMPUS, IPA, SEE-ERA.NET, INTERREG, DAAD, ERASMUS PLUS CBHE & ICM, EUPHRESCO, etc., bilateral with Italy, Slovenia, etc., and the national projects. Since 2019, Prof. Cara has been a member of the Scientific Committee of COST in Brussels and External Evaluator of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in Tirana.
