Sir, Mouth and genital ulcers with inflamed cartilage (MAGIC) syndrome is a term used to designate a rare entity first described by Firestein et al. in 1985 [1], namely the simultaneous presentation of features of both Behçet’s disease and relapsing polychondritis. Vascular involvement is very rare. Several reports have suggested that tocilizumab may be efficacious in the treatment of Behçet’s disease [2] and relapsing polychondritis [3]. However, the use of tocilizumab to treat MAGIC syndrome has never been described. We report the case of a patient presenting with MAGIC syndrome associated with aneurysm of the ascending aorta, who failed to respond to tocilizumab therapy.
