Prof. Dr. Eun Kyoung Seo is a Full Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Ewha Woman’s University. She is an expert in natural product chemistry research. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1997, majoring in Pharmacognosy, and is researching the isolation of compounds from natural products, structural identification, and development of natural product-derived medicines. She has
also participated in governmental research, such as the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety’s herbal medicine quality standardization research project and research project for index component
manufacturing. She published more than 200 SCI papers and has more than 25 patents.
