Prof. Dr. Xinhua Chen is a Professor at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He is the recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, a leading scientific and technological innovation talent recognized by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, a young and middle-aged scientific and technological innovation talent of the Ministry of Science and Technology, a candidate of the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project, and a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions. He pursued his PhD at Sun Yat-sen University from 1997 to 2001. He has received a number of academic and technological awards, including two First Prizes and one Second Prize of the National Marine Innovation Achievements, one Second Prize of the Marine Engineering Science and Technology Award, three Third Prizes of the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Xiamen Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation Talent Award, and the Zeng Chengkui Marine Science and Technology Award. His research interests focus on immunology and the disease control of marine fish.
