James A.L. Brown was educated in Australia, receiving his BSc and PhD from the Queensland University of Technology with research conducted at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR). He received postdoctoral training at the University of Galway, before joining the Biological Sciences Department at the University of Limerick as an Associate Professor in Cancer and Cell Biology, where he
currently leads his Oncobiology and Molecular Therapeutics Group focusing on
validating the effectiveness of the lysine acetyltransferase
inhibitor TH1834.
