Alessandro Franchi is a Professor of Pathology at the University of Pisa. Since the beginning of his career as a surgical pathologist, he has focused his interest on the field of Head & Neck Pathology. He authored and coauthored 100 papers on this subject, as well as several book chapters, including contributions to the WHO Classification of Head and Neck Tumours. He is coeditor of the textbook “Pathology of the Head and Neck” and editor of the textbook “Pathology of Sinonasal Tumors and Tumor-Like Lesions,” both published by Springer.
