Prof. Dr. Petar D. Petrov is a professor at the Institute of Polymers of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He completed his  PhD in Polymer Engineering at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in 2001. His research interests focus on the synthesis and co-assembly of the amphiphilic block copolymer, photochemical crosslinking of natural and synthetic polymers, fabrication of super-macroporous cryogens, polymeric complexes, and nanoparticles and nanocomposites for applications in medicine, pharmacy, and biotechnology.
