Jaime Gómez García-Bermejo received the B.S. degree in electronics and automatic control engineering from the University of Valladolid (Spain) in 1990, the M.S. degree in image processing from the École Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications of Paris (France) in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from said university in 1995. He is currently a full professor at the Dept. of Systems Engineering and Automatic Control at this University and leads the Computer Vision Laboratory at CARTIF Tech. Center where he has led about two hundred research projects and contracts. He is also the coordinator of a Ph.D. Program at his university. His research interests are computer vision and robotics.
