Marioara Moldovan received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is a Senior Researcher at Babes Bolyai University—“Raluca Ripan” Chemistry Research Institute, Cluj-Napoca, Organic Compounds Laboratory, “Polymer composites” Collective. Her main activities and responsibilities include leading research activities in the field of synthesis and characterization of composite materials used in medicine, consisting of the development of new monomers and new inorganic fillers used in composite formulation. She has publications (over 150), patents (24), books and book chapters (2 and 8), conferences and symposia publications (over 250), awards (22), homologated products, and manufacturing certificates (CE-30).
