Yangmin Li received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, China, in 1994, all in mechanical engineering. He is now a Full Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China. His current research interests include micro/nanomanipulation, nanorobotics, micromanipulators, mobile robots, parallel robots, multibody dynamics, intelligent control, and computational intelligence.
