Dr. Kohei Nagai is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Industrial Science of the University of Tokyo Japan. He is the developer of the 3D Rigid Body Spring Model, which is a discrete analysis tool for reinforced concrete. His lab is continuously working toward understanding failure mechanisms in reinforced concrete structures subjected to various deteriorations using experiments and simulation methods.
