Jing Qiu is a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is currently the director of the Monitoring and Evaluation Laboratory of the Institute of Agricultural Quality Standards and Testing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the chief scientist of the "Leading Talent" and "Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Risk Assessment Innovation Team" of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the executive deputy director of the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He is also a member of the National Food Safety Standard Review Committee, the National Pesticide Registration Review Committee, and the National Veterinary Drug Residue and Resistance Control Expert Committee, and the chief scientist of the National Key R&D Program. He received a Doctor of Science degree from China Agricultural University. He has won five first prizes for provincial and ministerial achievements, including the Shennong Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Award; the National Agricultural, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest Award; and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation Award.
