Sergio Adriani David is an Associate Professor and researcher at the Department of Biosystems Engineering, University of São Paulo (USP - Brazil). He received a Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP -Brazil) in 2003 and 1996, respectively. Executive MBA in Finance at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-RJ-Brazil)/Ohio University (OHIO USA) in 2002. Bachelor degree in Physics from the São Paulo State University (UNESP-Brazil) in 1993. He has a post doctoral concluded in Applied Mathematics at the São Paulo State University (UNESP-Brazil) in 2012. Prof. Sergio A. David has been acting as an editor, guest editor and associate editor in different issues in SCI indexed journals. He has also been reviewer for more than one hundred important and different indexed journals having reviewed over 380 papers verified and registered by the Web of Science. Currently working on the following topics: mathematical modeling applied to science and engineering, fractional order systems/ fractional calculus, modeling & simulation in biomedical sciences, mechanical sciences, energy economics, financial math. and nonlinear phenomena.
