Baoqing Sun is a professor, researcher, and director of the Office of Respiratory Health Research Institute, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases PI. She has been engaged in clinical, scientific research, and teaching of laboratory medicine for more than 20 years. Through laboratory technology, she makes diagnosis, differential diagnosis, prognosis assessment, and disease progression predictions of clinical diseases, provides innovative molecular biomarker detection technology for early diagnosis of diseases, and carries out industrial, academic, and research on allergens. She has been a visiting scholar at Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong and the Danish Allergen Research Center. In recent years, she has published more than 20 SCI international medical papers and more than 50 Chinese core research papers as the first author or corresponding author in medical journals. She has presided over and undertaken a number of national and provincial scientific research projects, and edited the Science Book on Allergy in Simple Terms.
