Prof. Alessandro Piras is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Life Quality Studies at the University of Bologna in Italy. From February to May 2007, he underwent a certification process to become a ‘Training coach for professional soccer players’ at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano, Florence, Italy. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Sports Science from the University of Bologna on 27 March 2006, achieving a grade of 110/110. On 10 May 2010, he received his PhD in Sports Science from the University of Bologna.
