Vlad-Adrian Afrăsânie is a consultant in medical oncology at the Regional Institute of Oncology, Iași, Romania and a PhD Student in oncology at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iași, Romania. His main areas of expertise are digestive cancers and gynecological cancers. His main area of research is genetic biomarkers in metastatic colorectal cancer. He is also interested in the evolving field of cardio-oncology. He works as a sub-investigator in multiple phase 2 and 3 clinical trials in medical oncology. He has software experience in areas such as statistical analysis and image editing.
