Prof. Pavol Zubor, MD, PhD, DSc, MBA, FRSM, is a Consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist and academic physician with more than 25 years of clinical, surgical, teaching, and research experience across Central Europe and Scandinavia. His principal academic and research interests include gynaecologic oncology, cancer epigenetics, DNA methylation, molecular and epigenetic biomarkers, translational oncology, senology and breast cancer, and maternal-fetal medicine. He is a former Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, Slovakia, where he also held senior academic and departmental leadership positions. His scientific record comprises more than 120 Scopus-indexed publications, over 2,900 citations, and an h-index of 28. He has participated as Principal Investigator and senior researcher in EU-funded research projects exceeding EUR 12 million. His research has focused particularly on molecular and epigenetic mechanisms of cancer, DNA methylation, cancer biomarkers, tumour biology and heterogeneity, breast and gynaecologic malignancies, and translational approaches to personalised medicine. Prof. Zubor has served as a Council Member of the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) and currently practises as a senior consultant in Norway and Sweden.
