Thanh-Hai Nguyen received his B.Eng. degree in Electronics Engineering from the HCMC University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), Vietnam, 1995; his M.Eng. degree in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering from the HCMC University of Technology (HCMUT), in Vietnam, 2002; and his Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in Australia, 2010. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Department of Industrial Electronic – Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical – Electronics Engineering, HCMUTE, Vietnam. His research interests are in bio-signal and image processing, machine learning, smart wheelchairs, and artificial intelligence.
