Prof. Dr. Beatrice Gabriela Ioan currently serves as a professor at the Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi Romania, and also as a senior medical examiner at the Institute of Legal Medicine. She is a member of the Committee on Bioethics (CD-BIO) of the Council of Europe, and its former Chair and former member of the International Bioethics Committee (IBC) of UNESCO. Her research interests mainly include burnout in healthcare professionals, occupational stress, medical liability, and ethical and medico-legal end-of-life issues.
