Dr. Felice Gragnano is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli, Caserta, Italy, and he serves as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Division of Cardiology, S. Anna and S. Sebastiano Hospital, Caserta, Italy. He received his medical degree from the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli. He completed his residency in Cardiology and his Ph.D. in Translational Medical Sciences at the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Inselspital—Universitätsspital Bern, Bern, Switzerland. He has been an invited lecturer on many topics, most about antithrombotic therapy and bleeding risk. He has authored >170 manuscripts, chapters, and abstracts, with some published in high-impact journals, including BMJ, Circulation, JACC, and European Heart Journal. He has served on the editorial boards of several scientific journals, including EHJ—Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. He has a large academic clinical practice involving a broad spectrum of patients with cardiovascular disease, with a focus on acute/chronic coronary syndromes. His research interests include antithrombotic therapy and bleeding risk prediction in patients undergoing coronary stent implantation, with or without concomitant medical conditions requiring long-term oral anticoagulation.
