My research interests are the mechanochemical synthesis of metal selenides and metal sulphides semiconductors in a high-energy ball mill, preparation of new nanomaterials and the hydrometallurgy of sulphides and titanium minerals. I was a member of DFG research group (2011-2018), which comprised of the project partners, IFAD TU Clausthal and IME Institute of Process Metallurgy and Metal Recycling RWTH Aachen University, and developed a method for the aluminothermic production of titanium aluminium alloys.
