Dr. Jorge Igual

Jorge Igual is an Associate Professor at the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (Spain). He obtained his degrees of Engineer and Doctor of Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia in 1993 and 2000, respectively. His line of research focuses on Signal and Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning, with applications in Biomedicine, Astrophysics, Ultrasounds, Photography, and so on, where he has been published in international magazines and conferences. He has participated in competitive research projects, both private and publicly funded (national and European). He also performs management tasks related to educational and organizational aspects.
