Odysseas Androutsos is an Associate Professor of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at the Department of Nutrition-Dietetics, University of Thessaly. Since 2008, he has participated as the Principal Investigator, Project Manager or Member of research groups in national and international research programs, funded by the European Commission or other bodies in Greece or self-funded projects. He has been supported as an external Scientific Consultant by the Ministry of Health of Malta and the National Institute of Health of Estonia in the implementation of research programs for the prevention of childhood obesity. His scientific work has received national and international awards, such as the «John M. Kinney Award» for one of his scientific papers in the field of pediatric nutrition. He is an elected member of the ESDN Obesity of EFAD and is a lecturer for postgraduate courses, seminars, and lifelong learning programs in the field of “nutrition and dietetics”. He is the President or Member of educational, research or administrative committees at the University of Thessaly.
