I received my BSc (1999, Shiraz University) and MSc (2001, University of Tehran) in Agricultural Extension and Education (AEE). I hold two PhDs: the first from Science and Research University, Tehran (2005), and the second from Shiraz University (2013). I am currently a Full Professor at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU), Tehran, Iran. My research background is "AEE" with focus on "Environmental and Natural Resources" issues. My research focuses on the human ecological analysis of natural resource conflicts, pro-environmental behaviors (particularly water and soil conservation), climate change adaptation, and sustainable agricultural and rural development. I have supervised numerous MSc thesis and PhD dissertation and led several national research projects. I have published extensively in high-impact journals, including Journal of Cleaner Production, Land Use Policy, Water Research, Journal of Hydrology, and Global Ecology and Conservation, with many papers indexed in Web of Science (JCR). Academic distinctions include being recognized as a Top Researcher at TMU (2019–2021) and a Distinguished Professor at TMU (2026). I have also completed a research stay at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.
