In 1997, Rafal Stemplewski graduated from Poznan University of Physical Education and received a master of science in rehabilitation. After his studies, he started to work at Poznan University of Physical Education in the Department of Physical Activity Sciences and Health Promotion. In 2004, he presented his doctoral thesis and received his Ph.D. In 2014, he completed a habilitation degree. Both his doctoral and habilitation theses was connected with the problem of postural stability and falls among the elderly. Current intersts are focused mainly on using digital technologies in monitoring and supporting physical activity as well as diagnostic of physical fitness. He has taken part in several scientific grants in Poland and the international projects as DEDIPAC and PhysAgeNet. Current position - associate professor, head of Department of Digital Technologies in Physical Activity.
