Songlin Sun obtained his doctoral degree from the School of Information and Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2003. He is a doctoral supervisor, currently serving as the head of the Department of Electronic Information Engineering at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, a member of the China Command and Control Society, a member of the Innovation Driven Working Committee of the China Communications Society, an executive member of the Science Popularization Working Committee of the China Computer Society, and a senior member of IEEE. His current research topics include wireless communication, intelligent signal processing, and video encoding and transmission.
