Mohamed K. Darwish is Professor of Power Electronics and Systems and Course Director for the M.Sc. in Advanced Electronic and Electrical Engineering in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences at Brunel University London. He has over 40 years of experience in research and teaching in power electronics, renewable energy systems, and power systems. His research interests include active power filtering techniques, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, electric vehicles, environmental research, and power quality. Professor Darwish is a Chartered Engineer and serves as the IET Student Counsellor at Brunel.
