Jesus R. Rivera-Guillen received a B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Technological Institute of Queretaro, Queretaro, Mexico, in 2005 and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering Mechanics, Electrical, and Electronics, University of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2007 and a Ph.D. degree at the Autonomous University of Queretaro, Queretaro, Mexico in 2010. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Toronto Metropolitan University from 2011 to 2012. Currently, he is a professor at the Engineering Faculty of the Autonomous University of Queretaro. His research interests include mechatronics, motion control, instrumentation, and digital systems applied to solutions for industrial problems. He is a member of the Mexican National Research System (SNII), level 1.
