Dr. Kyudong Han is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, College of Bio-Convergence, Dankook University. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Dankook University. He earned his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University. He has expertise in transposable element-related genomic instability and genetic variation. His research topics mainly include comparative genomics and population genetics, cancer genomics, mobile element-mediated genomic instability, molecular phylogenetic analysis, primate genome evolution, and next-generation sequencing (whole-genome sequencing, exome sequencing, transcriptomes, and metagenomics).
