Esteban Durán is an Associate Professor in the Departament of Microbiology, Universidad de Talca. His research area is focused on the design and development of advanced bio- and nanomaterials that include hydrogels and metallic nanoparticles with different biomedical applications such as drug delivery systems for the treatment of infectious and cancer diseases. Durán's group has a full laboratory for the synthesis of advanced biomaterials and biological applications.
