Óscar Escribano received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Alcalá de Henares in 2004. He is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Complutense University of Madrid, and PI at the Hepatic and Vascular Diseases Lab in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of UCM. His research interests mainly focus on hepatic diseases, miRNAs, inflammation, biomarkers, and gene therapy.
