Dr. Jana Pavlačková currently works as an assistant professor (academic and researcher) at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Pavlačková studied at Brno Technical University (1992—M.Sc. in Technology of leather, plastic and rubber) and Tomas Bata University in Zlín (2002—Ph.D. in Technology of Macromolecular Compounds). Work experience at Botex a. s. Hrušovany u Brna and Altos includes the following: 1992–1994 planner and sales representative; Tomas Bata University in Zlín: since 1995. Previous research interests include technology of footwear production, biomechanics, hygiene and healthy footwear, diabetic foot, children foot, and footwear design. Current research interests include biotechnological processing of food and cosmetics, cosmetology, food and cosmetics applications and formulation, biometric skin measurement, and sensory analysis.
