Dr. Devendra Bansal (PI) is a well-trained medical microbiology scientist at Institute Pasteur, France and Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. He has received Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. Dr. Bansal has 22 years of national and international experience in planning/managing multiple research projects in the field of infectious diseases. His research interests are multidisciplinary, wherein he was able to produce significant research data, which published in peer reviewed national/international journals. Dr. Bansal has received funding from many funding agencies including QNRF, WHO and HMC. In addition, he has been awarded several travel grants and postdoctoral fellowships from Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India; Institute Pasteur, Paris, France and Fondation des Treilles, Tourtour, France.
