Antonio Rivera-Tapia completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, México, and obtained his doctorate in Environmental Sciences in 2009 in the area of Environmental Technology. He began work in this area from 1997 to date. He currently directs Master's and Doctoral Theses in the areas of Environmental Science and Technology, has published more than 30 articles related to the topic of wastewater, and has participated in more than 60 national and international congresses on topics focused on the area of Environmental Sciencies. Additionally, he has directed 20 theses at the Bachelor's level and 7 at the Master's level. Dr. Rivera-Tapia is a member of the National System of Researchers.
